VOLLTEXT: Expanding Project Glasswing – Jun 2, 2026. Project Glasswing is Anthropic's collaborative effort to secure the world's most important software. Roughly 50 initial partners had access to Claude Mythos Preview since April, finding more than 10,000 high- or critical-severity security flaws. Now expanding to approximately 150 new organizations in more than 15 countries, covering power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware sectors. Anthropic expects many other AI companies will have Mythos-class models within 6-12 months, potentially without safeguards. Long-term aim: support industry in creating new initiatives, standards, and infrastructure for the era of powerful cyber models. Claude Security (using Opus 4.8) was also recently released for public code-scanning.

Opus 4.7 was most accurate on hydrogen prediction (avg error 0.079 ppm) and tied with MestReNova on carbon. For inverse structure elucidation, Opus 4.7 recovered all 8 simpler structures from spectra alone, and solved 4 of 7 harder targets on all three runs with starting-material hint. First time a general-purpose model without chemistry-specific fine-tuning matches dedicated NMR software. Expanding AI for Science program for chemistry research.
